The speaker could be better but I have my powerful Logitech X-230 Multimedia Speaker System - 32 Watt (Total) (2.1) linked up to the headphone output so its perfect. Looks great and is incredibly quiet, which is great as this is situated in my room! Haven't tried the Freeview or TV but I'm sure judging by my experience with this LCD it will be great.
